"Barbara Mallinson introduced Obami to Auckland Park Preparatory School in 2009 and we as teachers were immediately captivated by the idea. Although it was mainly geared to the high schools and we are a small primary school we insisted she allow our school to use it. We have done so with great success! All our girls from Grade 3 to Grade 7, and their parents were registered on Obami in January 2010 and the teachers and the girls use it regularly. Teachers use it for homework, projects, messages and important announcements. Pupils enjoy the interactive nature of the work and homework is fun and more interesting. We have set up portals and the parents have access to all projects and homework assignments. The girls just love the social networking side and their parents are happy that they are doing so in a secure environment."
