You can keep track of your expenses from your mobile phone by texting your transaction details to Obami (+44 7786 202 594) in the following format (don’t forget the commas):
Category Name, Amount, Paid, To/From, Description*, Comment*
e.g. Transport, 28.75, paid, British Rail, Travelcard, 1 week’s travel
* These fields are optional
Obami will automatically assign this to the relevant budget category, keeping you up-to-date with your finances. If the system doesn’t recognise your message, it will be saved in your Obami message inbox, for you to allocate later.
