Groups, viewing and editing your events

With Obami’s grouping functionality, you get to choose who sees each event, while you can even programme text messages to be sent to your mobile phone, reminding you of upcoming appointments.

To view or edit any details of an event, click on the event title or for your convenience, just drag and drop it to another day. Clicking the trash can that pops up alongside an event will give you the option to delete it, while clicking the date in the top right hand corner will show your day’s itinerary in full.

Black and Pink events are your own private appointments.
Blue events are your events that you have shared with other people.
Green events are events that you have been invited to. Since you don't own them, you will not be able to make changes to the details of such events.
To Add an Event, click the in the top left corner of the day to which you would like to add it.
You are required to give your event an Event Title, and if it is expected to last for more than one day, you can add in an End Date.
You must choose a Start Time, or click on All Day Event. You can give your event an End Time too.
Tags are optional keywords that will help refine your search results.
Should you be adding in a Recurring Event, simply tick the box alongside that option, type in relevant values and select the right combination of recurrences from the drop down menus provided.
You can also give your event a Location, jot down some Notes and even Insert an Image to brighten up the event details page.
If you would like to be sent an email or SMS Event Reminder, simply select how far in advance you’d like to receive it.
When adding the event you have the option to Make it public for anyone browsing Obami to see, Keep it private for your eyes only, Share with a Group(s) or Share with a Friend(s). Selecting to share an event means that those people will be able to see the event when viewing your calendar. They will also receive an event invitation, prompting them to view the event and change their RSVP status on the event details page, while the event will be placed on their calendars simultaneously.
You also have the option to alert friends who are not on Obami by entering their email address in the field provided. This option is only available for public events.
To view the Event Details of a single event, click on the Event Title. This will direct you to that event's details page.
To Edit an Event, click on the pen icon that appears when you mouse-over the event title.
To Delete an Event, click on the trash can icon that appears when you mouse-over the event title.
