Can anyone join the Obami community?

Only pupils, teachers and parents associated with registered schools are allowed to join the Obami community. If you are not one of the above, please contact the Obami Team and we will see what we can do – information shouldn’t cost a thing!

How can my school register with Obami?

If you are a teacher and would like to get involved, simply register your school. Once we approve your registration request, we'll create you an account and you'll be able to follow the few simple steps to get the rest of your school community up and running.

If you are a learner or a parent (or simply a well-wisher), you can “Nudge a School” from the Obami homepage. We'll be sure to follow up with the school, but we recommend that you get all your friends to nudge the school too - the more people who nudge a school, the more likely the school will take notice and consider using Obami.

How much does Obami cost?

Obami is FREE for schools. It's all about bringing the power of the Internet to you and your school in a safe and secure manner… information shouldn't cost a thing. The only thing you have to pay for are the SMS bundles that can be purchased by contacting the Obami Team. This is an optional feature that could save you time and money and complements the free services offered by Obami.

I have forgotten my password, how do I access my account?

If you’ve forgotten your password, click the “Forgot your Password” link on the Obami homepage. Enter in the email address that is associated with your account, and details will be sent to you telling you how you can go about accessing your account.

If you do not have a real email address associated with Obami, you can ask your school’s Obami administrator to reset your password for you.

How do I get started?

Your school's Obami administrator will provide you with your Obami login details. Alternatively, your account details will be emailed directly to you. If you have not received anything, make sure you check your junk mail folder.

Can I (or my company) advertise on Obami?

There are opportunities to advertise and sponsor content on Obami - however, each and every partner that uses Obami for this reason has to go through an application process. You can find out more about interacting with the Obami community here.
